Course Overview
In this course, you will learn the Postgres Architecture, how to design and develop applications with Postgres, intricacies of JDBC and object relation mappers (ORMs) with Postgres, how to troubleshoot and tune Postgres queries and how to write backend server code in Java and PL/pgSQL. Some of the course curriculum overlaps with Foundations of Postgres Administration. The course focuses on PostgreSQL Community Edition.

This class is intended for Developers who want to develop applications that deliver content from PostgreSQL. This class will also teach you Postgres Source Code Installation.

Familiarity with programming languages and concepts of SQL.
