AWS Certified Advanced Networking - Specialty (ACANS)
The AWS Certified Advanced Networking Specialty examination validates advanced technical skills and experience in designing and implementing AWS and hybrid IT network architectures at scale. This examination is for individuals who perform complex networking tasks, and validates an individual’s ability to:
- Design, develop, and deploy cloud-based solutions using AWS
- Implement core AWS services according to basic architectural best practices
- Design and maintain network architecture for all AWS services
- Leverage tools to automate AWS networking tasks
Prerequisites
Eligible candidates for this exam have:
- Minimum 5 years hands-on experience architecting and implementing network solutions
- Advanced knowledge of AWS networking concepts and technologies
Changes to Eligibility Requirements as of October 11, 2018:
You are no longer required to have an Associate certification before pursuing a Professional certification, and you are no longer required to hold a Foundational or Associate certification before pursuing Specialty certification. All candidates will be able to register for any exam by the end of October 2018.
